Magnaghi Aeronautica SpA, founded in 1936 as a company supporting the flight activities of Italian Air Force, is the holding company of Invesco Group since 2001.
The Group is focused on four areas of activity across the aeronautics value chain:
- Landing gears production and MRO
- Composite materials components production
- Surface treatments
- General aviation
Magnaghi has over 76 years’ experience in the design, development, production and in-service support for landing gears, hydraulic components and devices. Due to the increasing know-how and manufacturing capacity, Magnaghi was able to co-operate in many military and civil programs, for fixed and rotary wing aircraft, such as EFA, TORNADO, M346, AIRBUS and BOEING.
Moreover Magnaghi took part in several R&D projects focused in the development of electrically actuated Landing Gears system (through dedicated electromechanical rotary actuators) with provision of innovative locking/unlocking devices.
