Activities

The overall work plan has been integrated within the the structure of REG-IADP project and is now carried out through 4 technical work packages (“WP”) and one management WP, further divided into sub-WP and tasks. The 6 partners in the project provide contributions to the tasks and deliverables within these work packages:

• WP0.7.2 "Management ASTIB" covers the proper organisation and management of the project and dissemination activities
• WP2.2.3 "Performance and Health Monitoring" supports the Topic Manager in the development of a health monitoring platform and is focused on prognostics for electromechanical actuation systems
• WP2.3.2 "Electrical Landing Gear" assesses and demonstrates the ability of the electromechanical actuation technology to be reliably and safely used for landing gear.
• WP2.4 "Innovative Flight Control System" The objectives of this WP are to demonstrate the ability of the electromechanical actuation technology to be reliably and safely used for primary flight control actuators, and to develop robust and efficient control laws, as well as prognostics and health management algorithms for these equipments
• WP3.4 "Iron Bird" is dedicated to the development and manufacturing of an advanced ground demonstrator (Iron Bird) for demonstration of the technology readiness level of critical aircraft systems, paving the way for their implementation in future regional aircraft.
